Alpine City products
The Alpine City is agreeable and genuine, just like the products bearing the Capricorn symbol of the Graubünden ibex. In collaboration with local producers, a whole range of regional products are currently being created. Alpine City tart, Alpine City chocolate and an Alpine City bottle with a schnapps glass are popular souvenirs and take-home gifts from the Alpine City.
Alpine City cheese

Chur has a number of high-lying alpine pastures on its doorstep. Four of them are in Arosa, where every summer around 400 cows give top-quality milk, which is used for one of the most natural products to be found in Graubünden and, indeed, in Switzerland – cheese. The milk of the happiest of Chur cows is turned into Alpine City cheese. And that does not just taste delicious, but also makes you happy, too. Try for yourself!
Incidentally, the Maran dairy, which produces Alpine City cheese, was awarded a silver medal at the Cheese Olympics in Galtür, Austria!

Alpine City tart

The Alpine City tart, which is coated in cracknel, is made using mainly local ingredients, such as Gran Alpin flower, eggs, Alpine butter and Chur Röteli cherry liqueur, and is produced by confectioners in the centre of Chur. The tart lasts well and is ideal as a souvenir for holiday guests. What's more, not only the tart but also the box is very special, for it only reveals the Alpine City – that is, its tart – layer by layer.

Alpine City ice cream

Chur – la vera dolce vita! The coolest member of the Alpine City product family is the ice cream, which is a hit with young and old alike. It is produced by the Gelateria evviva, located on Kornplatz in Chur's Old Town, using almost exclusively local ingredients. The flavours on offer are vanilla, chocolate, natural yoghurt, hazelnut, fior di latte, elderberry, coffee, tiramisù, strawberry, wild berry and pistachio. Buon appetito!

When glass-blower Muja goes for a walk along the Rhine, he does not just do this for pure enjoyment, but also to collect things. Such as, for example, stones that have been shaped and polished in the course of thousands of years. These he fixes onto Alpine City bottles and schnapps glasses which, adorned with the Capricorn symbol, he then sells to be filled with local specialities. For example, Chur Röteli cherry liqueur from the Ullius drugstore.

The six chocolates with the most delicate nugget and walnut filling, created by Chur confectioner's, Konditorei Merz, simply melt on the tongue and are absolutely irresistible. In order to keep the memory of Chur alive a little longer, they come with a Memory game, bearing attractive motifs of the Alpine City.
