RED (no. 616)

Most of the route covers narrow pathways. The connections between the individual trails cover broad woodland and forest roads. A certain amount of cycling assurance and medium proficiency are required. The descents along the narrow trails are incredible fun and the final stage from Parpan to Chur, via Grida, is a little-known pleasure. The tour is continuously signposted with the number 616.

Distance: 42 km
Altitude gain, ascent: +950 m
Altitude gain, descent: −3,250 m
5 mountain railways

BLACK (no. 617) - not signposted, GPS only

Only the best trails have been selected for this round trip. The descent from Rothorn (2,865 m) to Chur (580 m) with a brief visit to Arosa is simply unbelievable. From Chur, the black route converges with the red – only the descent from Alp Stätz to the Heidsee lake is technically challenging and calls for experience with hairpin bends. No signposting on rough terrain. Only GPS data is provided for this tour.

Distance: 64.5 km
Altitude gain, ascent: +636 m
Altitude gain, descent: −6,000 m
10 mountain railways incl. Arosa
