Opening of the ARGE ALP project "The Journey of Objects"

In the Rhaetian Museum, an author who speaks Romansh and an author who speaks Turkish meet. Together, they select an exhibit and write poems about it in their own languages. In their video, Gianna Olinda Cadonau and Azad Şîmmo show that language conveys cultural identity and is at the same time a powerful unifying force. "A poetic reflection" is the contribution of the Rhaetian Museum to the ARGE ALP project "Tradition – Diversity – Change 2".

As part of the ARGE ALP project "Tradition – Diversity – Change 2", seven Alpine museums have created a video trail. With the help of short videos, "The Journey of Objects" shows how traditions can open up and redefine themselves. In the Alpine region, which has always been shaped by migration, culture is constantly being reborn, even today. "The Journey of Objects" opposes a concept of rigid traditions and shows their openness and mutability.
